Why does CSR often need your Social Security Number in order to submit your resume?
Quite simply, many of our clients require a social security number for their non-payroll worker candidates who are submitted for contractor positions by an approved vendor. In order to give someone access to their buildings or internal systems, they require a unique identifier. A name alone without authentication does not uniquely identify an individual. Also, they often use the social security number to ensure their potential contractors do not have an unfavorable employment history with their company.
When the Social Security number is required to submit your resume, there unfortunately is no other way for a vendor to proceed without it.
CSR requires strict adherence to our privacy standards and policies and we will not use this information for any other reason other than to submit your resume into our client's secure system. In fact, our parent company, Cook Systems International, is 1 of less than 100 companies in the U.S. who is ISO 27001 certified, the gold standard for data and information security.

Moreover, we do not provide or give any personal information to any other private organizations nor do we collect information for commercial marketing.
